Interfaith Thanksgiving Service

What: Summit Interfaith Thanksgiving Service

When: Sunday, November 20 at 5:00pm

Where: Fountain Baptist Church, 116 Glenside Avenue, Summit.

Who: The entire Summit Community is welcome.  No RSVP necessary.  No charge to attend.

Details:  We will be welcoming Josh Stanton and Frank Fredericks, alumni of the Interfaith Youth Core,  who together have co-founded Religious Freedom USA, a New York City-based initiative that seeks to defend the core American value of religious freedom.  They will be helping the Summit Interfaith Council kick off a year-long project called “From Stranger to Neighbor.”

More Details: In partnership with Shaping Summit Together, we will also be starting Summit’s annual One Book One Community program.  This year’s book is “Acts of Faith” by Eboo Patel, founder of the Interfaith Youth Core.  The Interfaith Council has donated a number of copies to the Summit Public Library.
